The Howard House is a privately owned family home built in 1970 and cared for across generations. It was created as a place to gather, rest, and feel grounded — not as a themed rental or investment property.

Set on expansive rural land, the house offers privacy, quiet, and space to slow down. Every room has been prepared with intention, keeping the home comfortable, functional, and welcoming — not staged or overly curated.

The Howard House is best suited for guests who value calm surroundings, time together, and a slower pace. Whether you’re visiting to reconnect, rest, or simply step away from noise, the goal is the same: to offer a place that feels steady, lived-in, and easy to settle into.

Meet Your Host

Hi, I’m Karen Howard. I own and care for The Howard House here in Delight, Arkansas.

I was raised in this home and returned to it with my children after my parents passed, restoring and maintaining it with the same care it has always known. I’m an Air Force veteran and the owner of a local cleaning business, so caring for homes—and the people who stay in them—has long been part of my work.

The Howard House is a lived-in, well-kept home with deep roots in this community, and I’m grateful to share it with guests who value calm, space, and thoughtful hospitality.
